Anyone who says you need a date to enjoy a night out has clearly never heard of Mixolo, a Baltimore-based social network that arranges events specifically for people who prefer to go stag. You can come in a couple or group, of course, but it’s not mandatory. On Sunday, January 21st, Mixolo will kick off a new singles-friendly cooking series at Sofi’s Crepes Belvedere with a class aptly called Crepe Expectations.

From 7:30 to 9:30 p.m., Sofi’s Crepes will shut down so that Mixolo’s guests can take over the kitchen. Team members from Sofi’s will provide everything that attendees need to craft one sweet and one savory crepe, featuring the ingredients of their choice—including the instruction. Your ticket ($25) also includes one non-alcoholic drink, but you’re welcome to bring a bottle of wine along to share, too.
