Continuing with our “Meet Team Winthrop” posts, we were happy to sit down with Kaitlin to find out more about her.

Where are you originally from?

I am a Baltimore bred girl!  More specifically, I grew up in Sykesville, MD out in Carroll County.  If I am not busy looking at all the surrounding farm land, I am a proud Baltimorian supporting my Baltimore Ravens!

How long have you worked for Winthrop/Bozzuto?

I am coming up on 10 months with Bozzuto!  I have been at the Winthrop since November 2014 and loving every second of it!

What is your favorite Winthrop amenity?

Well, being a retired college athlete, I should say the incredible amount of fitness equipment in both of our TWO fitness rooms!  However, I am a pool rat, so I absolutely adore the salt water swimming pool!  We recently had our ‘Kick off to Summer’ cook out in the pool courtyard, where residents were practicing their cannon balls, grilling out with burgers and dogs, playing some ping pong or corn hole, and enjoying the company of their wonderful neighbors!

What is your favorite place to eat around Winthrop? 

Anywhere I can order cream of crab soup!  I always like to try it wherever I go and I have thoroughly enjoyed it from 7 West Bistro.

What is your favorite kind of music or group?

Coming from Carroll County, I should say country music is my favorite!  However, I enjoy anything I know the words to, which is usually the hottest new song on the radio!  I will admit that my very first concert I ever attended was, in fact, the Spice Girls! Yikes!

What do you love about Winthrop?

I would definitely have to say the people I work with!  We are always cracking jokes on each other and I always know that I can count on my coworkers to make every day eventful and enjoyable!  They really are a hoot!

What is one summer activity you always look forward to around town?

Well since we do not have a beach close enough, my next favorite summer activity would be going to the O’s games!  There is nothing better than sitting outside, taking in a ball game, while enjoying a ball park frank and a beer!

What is the first word that comes to mind to describe yourself?

I would have to say outgoing.  I am definitely the person who will be the first to make a joke and most of the time I will be making fun of myself!  I always enjoy a good laugh!
