With Martin Luther King, Jr. day just around the corner, there are many events happening in the area to honor the late civil rights activist.

16th Annual Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Parade- Baltimore, MD
Take part in the parade, on January 18, running from noon-2pm. The parade will begin off of Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard and Eutaw Street.

Ongoing MLK Events- various locations
Throughout the month of January, the D.C. Public Library will be hosting poetry readings, musical performances, and more.

MLK Tribute Event- Arlington, VA
The 47th annual tribute will take place at Wakefield High School, on January 17th from 5pm-6:30pm. This event will feature live music, dancing, and more.

10th Annual MLK Holiday Parade and Peace Walk- Washington, D.C.
Venture to Washington, D.C. on January 18th for the 10th Annual MLK Holiday Parade and Peace Walk. The Peace Walk will take place from 11am-12pm at 2500 MLK, Jr. Ave, with the Parade running from noon-2pm at 2700 MLK, Jr. Ave.
