World of Beer: Beermosas and Beer-Batter Pancakes Await at Sunday “Beerunch”
Posted on June 8, 2017 by editor
Even during brunch — or, rather, “Beerunch” — the World of Beer‘s chefs find a way to incorporate brews into the menu. There are the beer-batter pancakes, which are actually infused with booze and served with a drizzle of house-made maple bourbon syrup. The Belgian beer waffles also use the beer-based batter with maple bourbon syrup, whipped cream, and powdered sugar on top. Even the Beerunch Burger boasts an IPA-infused sauce, paired with cheddar cheese, bacon, arugula, and tomato. Add a beermosa or bloody mary to your morning feast.
If you can’t make it for brunch on Saturday or Sunday morning, stop by for happy hour from 3 to 7 p.m Monday through Friday and 10 p.m. to close Sunday through Thursday. During happy hour, you can throw back a draft beer for as little as $4 or enjoy some top-shelf spirits for $5. Street tacos, crispy chicken sliders, and Southern fried pickles are also available for just $5 per plate.
