The new year has brought lots of new restaurants to Towson, and Maimura Sushi Noodle and Korean BBQ in Towson Square is one of those new spots. This modern eatery serves both Japanese and Korean cuisine; when you walk in the front door, you’ll turn left or right to choose the Japanese sushi bar or the Korean barbecue dining room.
On the Japanese side of the restaurant, you can choose from an array of appetizers like gyoza and tempura, as well as a selection of sushi, sashimi, and Japanese noodle dishes. On the Korean side, you can choose from various selections of beef, pork, chicken and seafood to grill right at your own table, as well as kimchi, bibimbap, or dubu soup. Local commuters and other nine-to-fivers, take note: Maimura has some excellent lunch specials, from fried noodles with your choice of meat, a special sushi combo, or spicy miso ramen for just $12.95.
