Want to spice up your life this year? Now that we’re able to gather again and have a little fun, it could be time to finally take a class you’ve been wanting to try. If dance is on your to-do list, check out Beginning Ballroom! This locally owned dance studio is run by a husband-and-wife duo who started dancing when taking a class for the first dance at their wedding. And, not only did they fall more in love with each other, they realized how much they loved dancing! After years of learning and doing lessons and competing on date nights, they decided to open a studio and start teaching. Now, this was way back in 2002, so they’ve been at it a while and have taught so many in the area the art of ballroom dancing! 

If you just want to have fun and meet new people, try group lessons. They do online and in-person classes at the Engineers Club on Sundays. If you want a more private experience, you can book a private lesson, first dance wedding lessons, and virtual classes for an in-home date night. Either way, you’ll have a lot of fun and pick up a new skill that may turn into a passion! What do you have to lose?
